Do some research or reference to be specific on what is C language to be more understand. Most of the reference were taken from internet (Google) only. C is use for system program or program that can be compile into integrated circuit.

C is often used for "system programming", including implementing operating systems and embedded system applications, due to a combination of desirable characteristics such as code portability and efficiency, ability to access specific hardware addresses, ability to pun types to match externally imposed data access requirements, and low run-time demand on system resources. C can also be used for website programming using CGI as a "gateway" for information between the Web application, the server, and the browser. Some reasons for choosing C over interpreted languages are its speed, stability, and near-universal availability. [taken from Wikipedia]

Syntax in C language

C source files contain declarations and function definitions. Function definitions, in turn, contain declarations and statements. Declarations either define new types using keywords such as struct,union, and enum, or assign types to and perhaps reserve storage for new variables, usually by writing the type followed by the variable name. Keywords such as char and int specify built-in types. Sections of code are enclosed in braces ({ and }, sometimes called "curly brackets") to limit the scope of declarations and to act as a single statement for control structures. The most common statement is an expression statement, consisting of an expression to be evaluated, followed by a semicolon; as a side effect of the evaluation, functions may be called and variables may be assigned new values. After make some research, decided to use C language to store data for this project.

Make some research what program is suitable to be use. Found several choices but need to choose wisely. Because every program or language have their own pros n cons.

The stored data need to be in database version which mean need to be written in array form. This is because the data will be search when user enter the unit number, and the data will be checked whether it is exist in the database or not.Array concept, the data will search row by row, column by column until it match with the user data.

This project is an enhancement to the current version which have video and storing data. Data that would be store is the unit number at each door in each apartments or condominiums. The data will be compile into integrated circuit using a compiler. The software that suitable to use is C# or C++.But, it will be good if have many choices, so the researcher will do some research what software is most suitable for this project.

The Final Year Project title is Development of Intercom Integrated with Camera and Monitor (software). This project is based on software and will be store in integrated circuit to build in the hardware. It is use to storing houses data for wireless Intercom system. This project was came out because from the apartments, condominiums in Malaysia who only have intercom at the guard houses to communicate with the residents; and yet, not all apartments applied this technology.
